Irresistible have recently worked alongside Performance Video to create bumpers, promoting Multipower Sportsfood during the 96th edition of Giro d'Italia.

The annual bicycle race started on 4th May in Naples and will end three weeks later in Brescia, where 207 riders including the likes of Mark Cavendish will cover 3,405 km of Italian terrain.

Official sponsors of the event, Multipower approached Irresistible to create bumpers that would support the theme of Giro d'Italia. Animated by Rob Angol, the bumpers aim to increase the reach of the Multipower brand and their products.

The content has been placed between coverage of the race on Eurosport, and will be running until 26th May, when the race is due to end.

New respite charity Skiing with Heroes has taken to the slopes of Klosters, Switzerland...

New respite charity Skiing with Heroes has taken to the slopes of Klosters, Switzerland along with fifteen ex-soldiers, wounded in Afghanistan and Iraq. Founded by Gilly Norton, the charity aims to rehabilitate injured ex-soliders through a week of adaptive skiing, helping them move back into employment. The trip gives the veterans the chance to overcome their combat stress, helping them to recover from the trauma caused by countless operations, forming friendships along the way.

This year, veterans were accompanied by twenty-four dedicated ski buddies, who supported them on the slopes and helped raise the funds to make the trip possible.

Skiing with Heroes approached Irresistible Films to produce an inspiring film that would promote their work and encourage people to donate and possibly participate in future trips. Positioned on the charity's website and YouTube, the film includes interviews with the veterans involved, along with uplifting footage from their first trip.

The Skiing with Heroes team are currently making plans for their next trip in March 2014, with fundraising events running throught the summer. Their next fundraiser will see over 70 supporters and veterans take part in Nightrider 2013, a 100km bike ride through London at night.

Virgin Media Shorts has returned for another year, continuing to unearth the freshest talent in filmmaking. Now in its sixth year, the UK's biggest Short Film competition has invited some of the finest names in the industry to be on the judging panel, including BAFTA winning director Shane Meadows.

On the panel alongside Shane Meadows is Irresistible Director, Jason Wingard. On being selected, Jason says 'I'm really delighted to be part of the judging on this year's Virgin Media Shorts, especially as Shane Meadows is also judging and I'm a huge fan of his work.'

Virgin Media Shorts veteran Jason walked away with the Grand Prize in 2011 for his short 2:20, along with the People's Choice Award for Bus Baby in 2010, making him more than qualified to judge this year's shortlist.

Jason has been keeping busy, working with BBC Comedy North to create a series of comedy pieces, one of which features Tom Binns as Hospital DJ, Ivan Brackenbury. Jason's mockumentary follows Ivan around his place of work as he goes about his business.

With the help of the BFI, Jason is currently doing what he does best, working on his latest short, Going to Mecca. Watch this space for more information about this exciting project.

Luxury brand Swarovski has joined forces with some of the fashion industry's most cutting edge designers to form the Swarovski Collective. For two seasons in a row, Irresistible Director Oliver Warren has been commissioned to create a series of film portraits for a range of designers from within the collective.

Amongst the selected designers for Spring/Summer 2013, is award winning milliner, Philip Treacy. Oliver's portrait mixes backstage and catwalk footage from fashion week with intimate interviews with the man himself, as he discusses the collection and his choice to dress the models in Michael Jackson's original costumes.

Teaming up with Swarovski for his Autumn/Winter 2013 collection is French designer Maxime Simoens. Oliver captures the essence of his sparkling Swan Lake collection, as the designer discusses how he first got into fashion.

Distributed throughout fashion week, the films were positioned across the digital pages of Elle, Vogue and Harper's Bazaar to name but a few.

In addition to his stunning work for Swarovski, Oliver has been busy creating another film for heritage menswear brand Merc. Promoting their Autumn/Winter 2013 collection, the film is a boy meets girl love story set in Brighton, and marks Oliver's third season with the brand.
