Nissan – Desert Nemesis

Director: Rob Kaplan
Producer: Georgina Cowley

To produce a film showcasing Nissan’s stunning new concept car, the Juke-R, a high-speed and outrageous idea.

Award-winning film director, Rob Kaplan, captured the noise and excitement generated by the muscular Juke-R via a live race event in Dubai, followed by Nissan’s inaugural GT Academy winner, Lucas Ordonez, taking on the world’s best supercars.

Delivering the highest possible visual appeal was at the pinnacle of the approach. With this in mind, the film was shot using the latest equipment; including the Red, Alexa, Cannon and Photron Cameras, coupled with radio controlled heavyweight drones.

The film was a success, being viewed over 2 million times across several online channels.  It was the most viewed video on the Nissan Europe Youtube Channel for 2 years, before losing its top spot to Nissan’s Irresistible produced the film highlighting their new nano technology paint.

Project Target
500K Hits

To become the most viewed film on Nissan Europe’s YouTube channel.

Project Result
Over 6.4 million hits

Achieved most viewed film, a record since topped only by Irresistible.
